Eco - June 2016
On Friday 17 June, Shillington Lower School took part in Empty Classroom Day. This is a national celebration of the health and learning benefits that can be gained from the great outdoors. Keep Britain Tidy wants to get every pupil in the country outside to learn and play, so we planned a whole day full of activities. Every child in the school had the opportunity to take part in each of the following; Swimming, Mini-beast hunts, Sketching, Blindfolded assault course, Gardening and making bird feeders. Both children and teachers had so much fun.
