Two volunteers from the NSPCC came to Shillington Lower on Thursday 26th January to lead two assemblies with their mascot 'Buddy'. The assemblies highlighted the importance for children to speak out to stay safe when they feel scared or worried. The children were encouraged to identify responsible adults they can talk to at such times. They were also given information about Childline as another avenue to speak out and stay safe.
